Scent Control 101

Cover Up or Eliminate –
the BIG Difference!

For years hunters seem to satisfy themselves by using cover up scents available on the market. Cover up scents like acorn, fresh dirt, skunk, apple, evergreen, DA! Many really thought it worked!

The "many" was the hunter's. The deer, well they knew the difference! The deer nose knew it smelt like a human apple, acorn or what ever you poured, shook, dipped are pinned on.

Do you see the direction I am going! Well, I do not feel cover scent does anything but make the deer run faster and they still can smell your human scent.

Scent! You have to work on human scent elimination!

How? With activated carbon. This is the key ingredient in Scent Blocker clothing. The activated carbon "absorbs orders better than any other material known to man."

The long and the short is we can now absorb human odors. Scentblocker's properties with activated carbon can hold the gas molecules that make up these human odors.

With this we now have a full line of Scent Blocker garments for different weather conditions that can be quickly regenerated by heat activation in a regular dryer.

Tip! All Scent Blocker Carbon Garments must be washed in Scentblocker carbon laundry detergent, which is specially formulated for carbon clothing. Other detergents will fill the carbon molecules and "stop" the absorption process of eliminating the human scent.

Make sure after you have washed your Scent Blocker garments, heat activate the garment in the dryer. Now remember this! Try to always store your clothing in a scent free, air tight, container or storage bag. Do not store your clean activated suits in with other clothing because it may very well absorb the smells on your other clothing.

When ready to use, I would also suggest that you spray down your garments with products like carbon blast, white lighting, or the new Ti4 Scent "eliminator" sprays!

Hopefully now you the hunter are starting to realize the difference between cover up scents vs. the products like Scent Blocker/Scent Shield that will eliminate the unwanted odors. Each month we will hopefully bring you tips that will help put the odds in your favor by getting close to deer.
